Nataliedee.com

A daily web comic that deals with everything from everyday indignities to bizarre flights of imagination, Natalie Dee has earned its place as one of the funniest web comics out there. Bold, foul-mouthed and incredibly esoteric, the comic has the look of a 4th grade girl's notebook drawings while carrying the sensibility of a 20-something former phone sex operator who has just had her third straight tequila shot. The aesthetic is intentionally primitive and oddly enduring. Much joy is to be had scrolling through the extensive archives, looking at drawings that veer from the chokingly cute to the incredibly vulgar (one particularly memorable comic includes this priceless dialog: "Where were you the last couple of days?" "I had a miscarriage." "Oh no!!" "No, it's cool. It saved me like 400 bucks."). Have you ever heard a stand-up comedian described as "saying the things that everyone is thinking" or something of the sort? And usually what they have to say isn't that original? Natalie actually touches on the things people think about, like about how much we like diet soda and trying to figure out what this weird rash on our legs is (One comic: "Sugar Free Candy: It's like diarrhea... whenever you want!!"). The site itself is pretty basic: new comic posted on the homepage everyday, links to the archives, a blog and merchandise (tee shirts!) above and off to the side. While no once-a-day comic can be expected to always achieve brilliance, this one hits often enough to make it more than worthwhile
